After quitting my night time job, I can finally stay home and cook some dinner for hubby. Even though I'm not a good cook, but I'm learning slowly and also trying out new dishes. It's so hard to cook for 2 people, every time there were leftovers, and I'll have to take it for lunch for the day after (sometimes even the whole week).
On Monday night, because Eric came to our house, so we went out dinner at Applebee's. I've ordered ribblet & chicken finger platter, and again I can only finished half of it, so the rest go to my lunch on Tue.
Tuesday night, I've cooked 4 dishes =) Yeah! 1) Number chicken wings 2) Blackpepper sauce chicken 3)deep fried tofu 4) boiled lettuce ... that's quite an accomplishment for me since it's a full dinner (just missing the soup) .... there were 2 chicken dishes because we've stocked up so much in our freezer and I need to clear it out .....
Yesterday (Wednesday), I was being lazy, so only pasta with meat sauce (again need to used the groud beef in the freezer).
And tonight, I won't need to cook since we're going to church for the Alpha course and there will be dinner served. =D
Besides starting to cook dinner, I also want to make some exercise plan for myself so that I can lose some weight. I've gained 3 more pounds after coming back from the honeymoon (in July), that's really bad since I didn't lose any weight for my wedding and now I kept gaining weight =(
I'm now at my all time high of 153lb .....omg ... I need to get it back down ... the ideal would be around 100lb ... but I think at least 120lb would be great ...
I've joined the Sparkpeople.com, the website is very helpful with recipes, exercise videos, meal & exercise trackers, forums etc. I think I should be able to acheive my goal by next August.
P.S. But we're going to shopping and high-tea on Labor Day ... hopefully I can control myself =(
